ABOUT THE LIVING SPACES

THE OUTDOOR SPACES
While the inside of this luxury vacation home is absolutely gorgeous, it is the very private pool yard and the magnificent mountain views that are the crowning glory. This property is beautifully landscaped and carefully space planned for spending time with your group. There are also more intimate spaces designed for some alone time to curl up with a good book. At the center of it all is the kidney-shaped saline pool with its integrated waterfall spa. There is a gas plumbed barbecue - so you’ll never have to worry about refilling the tank. A PART OF PALM SPRINGS HISTORY
This private home was custom built in 1956 when weekend and seasonal getaways were all the rage for the celebrities and millionaires who flocked to the Movie Colony to relax under the radar. Kirk Douglas owned the home right across the street. The house was a perfect getaway for a birthday weekend with a group of friends. The en-suite bathrooms for each room made it perfect for each couple to have their own space. The swimming pool was perfect to hang out and relax with friends in the afternoon. Extra thanks Oranj Palm for the after hours check in with my flight being delayed and getting into town late and unable to go to rental office.

We loved everything about this home. First, it had two separate "wings" with two bedrooms on each side, which was especially nice since we had young children staying with us so they could be on the other side. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The pool and spa were lovely and great for the adults and the kids. And the views of the mountains from both front and back were lovely. I should also note that the management company was very responsive. There was a problem with the pool temp when we arrived, but they came out immediately and got it taken care. And finally, the cost of heating the pool is included in the price, which is actually a big saving over most other rentals that I have seen. In short, rent this place. You'll love it.

What a beautiful property! My family and I (5 adults) stayed here over the holidays. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms - plenty of space! The indoor-outdoor living is amazing. Heated pool and hot tub were perfect. Very close to downtown Palm Springs. I would highly recommend this property - we had a memorable vacation!
